Q + A

Can I bring a plus one?

We kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. As much as we'd love to celebrate with everyone, we’re keeping the guest list intimate. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off to celebrate with us!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. There will be natural shade from the trees as well as a tented area, but please keep in mind that it may be warm—so dress accordingly!

What is the dress code?

The dress code is Tropical Formal. Think light, breathable fabrics like linen, chiffon, or cotton, in vibrant colors, soft pastels, or classic neutrals that reflect the natural beauty of the surroundings. For men, Aloha shirts are perfectly acceptable—and encouraged. Long pants are kindly requested; no shorts, please. Wedges, sandals, and dressy flats are great options, especially given the uneven terrain.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We’re having an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during this special moment. We’ve hired an amazing photographer and videographer to capture everything beautifully, so you can sit back, be present, and enjoy. There will be plenty of time for photos during cocktail hour, the reception, and a gorgeous sunset moment you won’t want to miss!

Will transportation be provided?

We’re currently working with our venue to arrange transportation to and from the hotel. Please check back here closer to the date for updated details.

I have dietary restrictions—what should I do?

Please let us know on your RSVP so we can accommodate you.

Is there a hotel room block?

We’ve reserved a special block of rooms at 'Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach for our wedding guests! Please see Travel tab for more information.

When should I RSVP?

We kindly ask that all guests please RSVP by April 1st so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
