Lauren and Ozzy technically knew of each other in high school—Ozzy was a close friend of Lauren’s brother—but they never truly connected back then. Ozzy says he always noticed Lauren from afar. Lauren, on the other hand, likes to say their real story didn’t begin until years later, during a family trip to Aruba for her parents’ vow renewal. It was there, in the warmth of the island sun and the joy of celebration, that something quietly and unexpectedly sparked between them. After returning home, fate stepped in with a rather unexpected—and slightly silly—twist. Lauren’s brother shared her number so Ozzy could stop by the family home to pick something up. Little did anyone know, that simple moment would be the start of something special. They went on a few dates, and what began as casual conversations quickly blossomed into a deep and meaningful connection. Ozzy asked Lauren to be his girlfriend during a special evening at one of his work events, and from that moment on, their lives began to intertwine in the most beautiful ways. Together, they’ve shared countless adventures—road trips across the country, ski weekends in New England, and quiet moments that made even ordinary days feel extraordinary. They supported one another through the challenges of a pandemic and navigated a year of long distance while Ozzy lived in Hawaii. But love, as it turns out, can make even the miles feel small. Eventually, Lauren joined Ozzy on the island with their dog, and together they built a home filled with laughter, love, and the salty breeze of the ocean. Now, with full hearts and surrounded by the people they love most, Lauren and Ozzy are so excited to begin their next chapter—finally becoming husband and wife.

We are so excited to have you join us on Oahu for our wedding! To ensure you have a smooth arrival, we recommend flying into Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). To help adjust to the time change and fully enjoy the wedding week, we suggest arriving a few days prior to the event. If possible, aim to arrive on the weekend before the wedding (June 6th or 7th), so you can take part in the fun festivities leading up to the big day. This will give you time to settle in, explore the island, and join us in celebrating this special occasion!

We’ve reserved a special block of rooms at ‘Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach for our wedding guests! How to BookEnter the group code GRPMANDZO in the “Group Code” field when you first search to access our special wedding rates. You must click Apply Group before continuing the booking. If you need to change your reservation later, be sure to re-enter the group code to keep your discounted rate. When booking directly through the ‘Alohilani website, please enter the group code GRPMANDZO and select dates between June 6 and June 17, 2026 to receive the special rate. Important Information for GuestsDue to federal regulations, online rates will show the base rate plus fees before taxes. Confirmation emails will show the full retail resort fee, but this will be adjusted to your group rate when you check in. A credit card is required to secure your reservation; payment is made at check-out, so no prepayment is needed. You can cancel or modify your reservation up to 72 hours before your arrival date without penalty. While we would love to personally greet each of you upon your arrival, we won't be able to do so during this time. To ensure a smooth journey to your hotel, we kindly ask that you utilize rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, or opt for a taxi. Upon your arrival at the hotel, please let us know so we can come say hi!

Airport Transportation

You're welcome to rent a car during your stay to explore the beautiful island of Oahu at your own pace. The hotel also offers an on-site car rental service through Sixt for your convenience. For short-term rentals, we recommend using Turo. There are tons of pickup locations around Waikiki. Alternatively, you can book directly through a traditional rental company at the airport.
