WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
We are requesting formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length or midi-length formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit and tie (tie optional).
Please note it may be chilly.
DO YOU HAVE A GIFT REGISTRY?
Yes! Please see the "Registry" tab above. While your presence at our wedding is all we wish for, we created a honeymoon and home fund as well as a gift fund, if you are feeling generous. Thank you!
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
All guests should be in Stanhope by Friday, October 17, 2025, by midday at the latest.
Considering the reality of flight delays and cancellations, we recommend arriving the day before (Thursday 11/16) the wedding, to be safe. Most likely, the last shuttle to the wedding venue from Hyatt Regency will be leaving at 4 pm (the exact time will be determined later).
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
This time of year, temperatures in the area range from 67°F - 47°F. We recommend looking at the weather forecast before packing your bags.
CAN I BRING A DATE?
While we would love to extend +1's to everyone, we ask that, unless otherwise noted on your formal invite / RSVP webpage - not bring a guest.
ARE KIDS WELCOME?
Although we love your little ones, we kindly request to not bring children under the age of 12 to the event. Thank you for understanding.
WHAT TYPE OF BAR SERVICE SHOULD WE EXPECT?
We are offering an Open Bar to all our guests. Feel free to bring cash to tip the bartenders for their service.
WHERE WILL THE CEREMONY TAKE PLACE?
The ceremony will take place outside on the venue’s beautiful grounds. Cocktail Hour and Reception to follow inside. It will be fall on the East Coast so it may be cold during the ceremony so I recommend bringing a jacket to stay warm. Also, the grounds are stunning with history we recommend getting there early to explore before the ceremony.
IS THERE A PLACE TO PARK?
They have parking available (the venue has great signage, so it is easy to find ).
WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE?
Yes, there will be a courtesy shuttle offered to and from the wedding. See more details regarding the shuttle under the "Travel" tab.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY?
Please arrive at the venue no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony. This will allow you enough time to sign our guest book and find your seat. However, the grounds are stunning with history we recommend getting there at least 30 minutes early to explore before the ceremony. If using our shuttle from the Hyatt Regency, it will have you arriving at least 30 min before the ceremony. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until the start of the cocktail hour to enter.
