Q + A

What should I wear?

We would love to see everyone dress up with us. We are requesting guests wear semi-formal attire for our wedding.

I'm traveling from out of town, where can I stay and are there blocked out rooms?

We are so happy you can make it! Under the Travel section, there is a list of places to stay in the area but you are more than welcome to book somewhere else you'd prefer. However, we do not have a set of rooms blocked and you will have to make a reservation like you normally would when traveling.

What should I expect for parking?

For the ceremony, there will be plenty of parking available! We recommend parking in front of the chapel or along the side and back to help avoid school dismissal traffic and after school activities. For the reception, parking will be available next to the space. There are two venues within the property, so make sure you go to the back section and park next to Stonebrook Hall rather than the front venue.

What weather should I expect?

It's Texas, so be prepared for anything! We assume it will be chilly, so a jacket, coat or some kind of covering is suggested. However, the best way to be prepared in looking at the weather forecast. Both the ceremony and reception will be inside, so weather conditions should not be a massive impact on how much fun you have!

Am I allow to bring a plus one?

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limit capacity, when you RSVP the amount of people allotted for your party will be listed!

Are children allowed?

We love your children, but due to limited capacity we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 except for those part of the wedding ceremony.

What type of food will be served?

A buffet with a selection of sides with your entree will be available. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please note so in your RSVP and we will make sure to accommodate!

What should I expect the day of the wedding?

The ceremony will be at Our Lady of The Angels Chapel - St. Anthony of Padua Catholic church and will be followed by a short drive to The Springs Lake Conroe - Stonebrook Hall. If you need driving directions, please refer to the addresses listed on the home page.

What time should I arrive?

While both venues have ample parking, we recommend arriving no later than 20 minutes before the ceremony as the wedding party will be getting into position. After the ceremony, you are able to leave whenever you desire to drive to the reception. Please note that wedding pictures (weather depending) will be taken after the ceremony and there many not be much time to speak with the couple. However, we promise to say hello during the reception!

Do you have recommendations for things to do or places to eat while staying?

There are many local restaurants, shopping and entertainment around the area! Please refer to our Things to Do page for a list of recommendations. If you would like more ideas, we are always one text or call away to offer additional recommendations.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We appreciate your enthusiasm to capture our special day! However, this is an unplugged ceremony as we will be in the Catholic church and would like to maintain respect. There will be a photographer to help capture the moments you wish to have, and we can happily share those when the photos are ready. You are also more than welcome to capture moments at the reception!

I have more questions about the wedding. Who do I contact?

Both of us will be available by text, phone, or email to answer any questions you may have. While there is still some time before the big day, it may take a while before we have a solid answer. We will try to post updates as often as possible on this website!
