Our Wedding

It all began with a little matchmaking and a whole lot of fate. Corey and I first crossed paths thanks to his wonderful stepmom, Josie Semo. I had just started working as a music teacher at Pontones Music, where Josie was one of my fellow teachers. One day, after getting to know each other, Josie mentioned that she had a son and offered to give him my number. I said, "Sure!" and the rest, as they say, is history. Our first date was at an Indian restaurant. I had never tried Indian food before, but I was instantly hooked. For our second date, I introduced Corey to Korean food, which was a first for him—and now he’s a fan too! These little culinary adventures were just the beginning of a shared love for trying new things and exploring the world together. Fast forward a bit, and Corey planned the most unforgettable proposal. Knowing how much my family and heritage mean to me, he took me to Panama, where my grandmother is from. In our favorite spot in the city, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the perfect blend of romance and thoughtfulness, and of course, I said yes! Today, we live in Grove City, Ohio, in a house we lovingly fixed up together. We share our home with our adorable dog, Jasper, who is absolutely the center of our world. Corey works as an Install Manager at Fire and Ice, and I’m a Music Teacher and Co-Owner of Pontones Music.When we’re not working, we love to travel and dream up new adventures. Whether it’s trying a new restaurant, exploring a new city, or simply spending time together with Jasper, we cherish every moment we share. We’re so excited to begin this new chapter together, and we can’t wait to celebrate our love story with all of you!
