Things to Do

Lake Tahoe is a must-see if you are visiting the Reno-Tahoe area for the first time. It has great beaches for a relaxing beach day and incredible hiking and mountain biking. It gets very busy for 4th of July weekend, so we recommend planning your trip to be in the Lake Tahoe area prior to that weekend.
