The Reception will feature Traditional Hawaiian BBQ items like Kalua Pork, Chicken Katsu, Firecracker Shrimp Macaroni Salad, Papaya Salad, Poke, Ahi, ect. There will be both Vegan and Gluten free options available as well. It will be served buffet style, you are encouraged to stuff yourself silly, sit around and relax!

Hawaii is a a place where you can relax, and we encourage it. Light colorful floral pattern dresses, linen Hawaiian print shirts and breathable clothing are recommended. You are welcome to dress more formally if you wish but it is not required. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable as this will be an all day outdoor event. Wedding Party members will be given instructions of specific clothing requirements. The overall theme colors for the event are Green, Gold, Tan and White.

That is really up to you! There are so many good options all across the Island its hard to say which one will be right for you and it will depend on how long you wish to stay after the Wedding. What we can say is the most convenient place for people to stay will be Hilo. That is where the shuttle to and from the wedding will pick up and drop off and where the most affordable lodging will be found. That being said there are also really great options in Kona as well as more activities to see and do on the Kona side and it is about the same distance from the wedding site (~1 hour).
