Travel

We understand that traveling internationally for any wedding is a big request; that's why we have put together everything you will need to know for traveling to our wedding.

We strongly suggest planning additional activities around our wedding date and making a fun vacation out of this occasion!

Flights

The closest airport to the venue is Shannon International Airport which is about 1 hour away from the town of Miltown Malbay. The only 3 airports that fly direct are Boston Logan, JFK, and Newark. Most layovers include Boston, JFK, London-Heathrow and Dublin International. Please make sure to include your flight and hotel plans on your RSVP! Most airlines begin booking flights one year out from the date.

Few Things To Keep In Mind

If you are planning to reserve a car, please make sure your US based car insurance will cover you. If not, you may be able to apply through your credit card provider for international car insurance. This will need to be done in advance as Ireland usually requires an exception for most insurance providers. Alternatively, you can purchase your car insurance through the car rental provider.

We recommend using a flight tracker like Google Flights or Hopper to see if you're getting a good deal but to book your flights with the airline directly.
