Mount Rainier, also known as Tahoma, is a large active stratovolcano in the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest in the United States. The mountain is located in Mount Rainier National Park about 59 miles south-southeast of Seattle.
FYI - you would need to get a reservation or arrive prior to the opening of the ranger stations. There are some great hikes outside the park that still have phenomenal views! Let us know and we will send recommendations!
Saint Edward State Park is a 326-acre-park in Kenmore, Washington and Kirkland, Washington. It is part of the Washington State Park System. Before becoming a Catholic seminary and later a state park, the area was logged in the 19th century and again in the 1920s.
Hike along old logging roads to a 25-foot tall waterfall on Cherry Creek just outside of Duvall.
