"When I was 13, I had my first love" - Ludacris for Justin Bieber's Baby Blake and Leah first met when she transferred to Park View School for 7th grade. They didn't interact much, he rarely came to school. It wasn't until High School that they became friends and started to hang out that they realized they lived 5 houses away from each other. After high school, Leah went to Arizona State to continue her schooling. Blake stayed at home and went to Oakton College. That didn't stop them from talking or spending time together. Blake came to Arizona for a visit during year 2 and stayed until her roommates starting asking questions. Blake soon moved out to Nevada for work and the commute between the two became shorter. All this to say, the visits became more frequent. It wasn't until they both moved back to Chicago and turned 25, that they decided to give love a try. 4 years later, we get to celebrate with the ones we love most. Who knew love would have been right down the street?

On the National Register of Historic Places, Mayslake Hall stands as a rare surviving example of the magnificent country houses that were built in DuPage County during the Gilded Age. It now serves the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County as a cultural education center, home to concerts, theatre, art exhibits and art classes. We offer tours of the mansion Monday- Friday from 12:30-1:30 and on Saturdays 11:30-12:30. Tours are $8 per person and do include stairs.

Mayslake Peabody Estate

Graue Mill and Museum is open mid-April through mid-November Wednesday –Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. It is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and select holidays. Admission is free. Demonstrations take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. The surrounding&nbsp;<a href="https://2920355.hubspotpreview-na1.com/places-to-go/centers/fullerburg-woods-nature-education-center" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve</a>&nbsp;is open daily from one hour after sunrise until one hour after sunset.
