Sonesta Ocean Point is the luxury, all-inclusive, adults-only resort, and offers access to both adults-only and family-focused amenities. The Sonesta Maho Beach Resort is the family-friendly, all-inclusive resort in the same complex. The key differences are the target audience (adults vs. families), luxury level (Ocean Point is a 5-star property with exclusive features), and access to amenities (Ocean Point guests have access to Maho facilities, but Maho guests do not have full access to Ocean Point's adult-only areas).

Yes. We recommend booking your room as soon as possible. The reduced group rate is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may sell out before the booking deadline. All reservations must be made at least 60 days prior to check-in, with one night’s deposit due at booking and the balance due 60 days before arrival. If rooms are no longer available through the room block link, please let us know and we’ll contact the resort for additional options.

Our room block and booking link reflect an arrival date of Thursday, October 22 and a check-out date of Monday, October 26, 2026. There is a 3-night pre and 3-night post stay option for guests who wish to arrive earlier or depart later than the main event dates (at the same rate). These extended dates are subject to the resort’s availability. Guests interested in booking pre/post nights will need to contact the resort directly, as these dates are not available through the group booking link.

While not strictly necessary, renting a car in St. Maarten offers the freedom to explore the island's diverse beaches, restaurants, and towns at your own pace, which is highly recommended by many visitors to truly experience its variety. The resort is a five minute ride from the airport. You can get around using taxis, buses, and but these options can be more expensive than a rental and limit your flexibility, especially if you plan on visiting multiple areas. Taxis are readily available but can add up quickly, especially if you plan on frequent travel. Buses offer a cheaper way to get around but operate on set routes and schedules, which might not align with your plans. Uber is NOT available on the island. Private Chauffeur Services: For a more luxurious experience, you can hire a local private chauffeur for a more intimate and personalized tour of the island.
