We are getting married October 24th, 2026 in Sint Maarten!
Maho Beach- For the plane-landing experience (right at runway)
Mullet Bay Beach- Close to Maho, good beach vibe
Simpson Bay Beach -More lively, good for strolling, people watching, local restaurants
Grande Case- Local restaurants, imagine scrolling in a village of warm people
Orient Bay / Baie Orientale- Gorgeous white sand, good facilities, water sports, French restaurants along the shore
On the Dutch / Sint Maarten side (around Maho, Philipsburg, Simpson Bay):
• Mr. Chow Modern Asian Bistro (near Maho)
• Jax Steakhouse (fine dining) St. Maarten / St. Martin
• Roma (Italian) St. Maarten / St. Martin
• Indigo Beach Club & Restaurant (Cay Bay)
• Top Carrot (for lighter / vegetarian, juices)

• Rainbow Café (on beach)
• La Terrasse (in St. Martin)
• Le Karibuni (Pinel / boutique)
• Watch planes land at Maho Beach
This is one of the signature SXM experiences — sitting (or standing) at the end of the runway while planes fly very low overhead.
• Visit Orient Bay (Baie Orientale)
A beautiful long sandy beach on the French side, with plenty of water sports, beach bars, and a nice relaxed vibe.
• Hike or explore Loterie Farm
In the interior hills, this nature reserve offers hiking trails, zip lines, and hidden lagoon spots.
• Go to Îlet Pinel
Take a boat or kayak over, enjoy snorkeling, beaches, and walking around the small island.
• Rainforest Adventures / Rockland Estate (SXM)
This is one of the more unique adventure parks on the island. It offers zip lines, chairlifts (Sky Explorer), the “Flying Dutchman” steep zip line, and tubing / “schooner ride” down the mountain.
