What is the dress code?

We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with you! As you prepare to join us, we kindly ask that guests dress in cocktail or formal attire for the wedding. For inspiration, cocktail attire may include cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or a suit and tie. Formal attire can include floor-length gowns, elegant midi dresses, tuxedos, or dark suits.

Are kids allowed?

We love little ones, but unless you have been specifically told or your invitation was addressed to your family, then leave the little ones at home. We will be having an adults-only wedding with just a few exceptions.

Do I get a plus one?

Yes, most adults do have a plus one. We appreciate you being a part of our special day, and we want you to be able to spend it alongside someone special if you choose to do so. If you are unsure if you have been given a plus one or not, when you click on the RSVP tab and search your name, you will be able to see if you can bring a guest or not.

What do I do after the ceremony?

Between the ceremony and reception, there will be a couple hour gap. In this time, you can head to the hotel and relax, grab a small bite somewhere in Newport, or grab a drink at one of the bars or restaurants in the area. Coctail hour at The Carnegie will begin at 5:30 with the reception to follow.

Where should I park?

At both the ceremony and the reception, free street parking is available. However, the reception is located within walking distance of the hotel.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony starts at 1:00. Please be seated and ready for the ceremony to begin no later than 12:50. We want to make sure everyone is on time and ready to go before the ceremony starts at 1:00. Thank you!!

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

The rehearsal dinner will be an intimate gathering reserved for the bridal party, those participating in the ceremony, and grandparents. We are so grateful for everyone celebrating with us and truly appreciate your understanding as we keep this portion of the weekend limited to those directly involved in the rehearsal. We cannot wait to celebrate together at the wedding!

Will transportation be Provided?

No, there will be no provided transportation from the hotel to the ceremony or to the reception. The reception is walking distance from the hotel, but transportation to the ceremony is recommended, as it is a bit of a far walk from the hotel.
