As two people who have made the drive to and from Louisville and Cleveland, we have put together some tips and tricks to try and improve your travel experience!
Travel Tips:
1. Timing your trip around when you hit the cities can be helpful to avoid rush hour traffic.
2. Watch for cops!! They typically hangout between Cleveland to Cincy. We like to use the Waze app because it gives us notifications on cop spotting.
3. Using Waze or Apple Maps for the entire trip may help you avoid sitting in traffic. Interstate 71 after passing through Cincy is known for delaying us due to car accidents. If you have maps up this may give you a heads up and cue you to get off and avoid sitting in traffic.
4. The trip is about 5.5 - 6 hours long, but if you are travelling on Saturday plan for delays to ensure you can enjoy as much of our night with us as possible.
5. Like any other trip, good music, yummy snacks, and great company make the drive that much better!
