Out of all the hotels and resorts we looked at, nothing matched the combination of beauty and hospitality that we found at Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort Curaçao.

Located in Nieuwpoort, Curaçao, this resort rests on a beautiful peninsula next to the Caribbean Sea and Spanish Water Bay. A pristine 1500 foot long beach wraps around the resort, where you can swim, snorkel, kayak, jet ski or paddle board. Old Quarry is a full 18 hole Golf Course rated #1 in the Caribbean by USA Today. A fantastic full service spa experience and a half dozen restaurants with some of the best food on the island topped off our stay here.

We highly encourage anyone coming to our wedding to stay at the Santa Barbara resort. It is located 35 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Willemstad.

For those who would prefer to stay in the main town of Willemstad, we suggest staying at the Avila Beach Hotel. Situated near the beautiful and vibrant Pietermaai District, this hotel is a 10 minute walk to historic downtown Willemstad and right next door to Mambo Beach and the Sea Aquarium. This was the most beautiful hotel we stayed at, and it is surrounded by dozens of amazing restaurants.

A 20 minute car ride from Hato Airport and a 25 minute car ride to Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort Curaçao.

For those who want to explore the city of Willemstad but don't want to stay too far away from the wedding location, the easy going beach town of Jan Thiel is the perfect spot.

We suggest staying at the Papagayo Beach Hotel. You'll be minutes from Jan Thiel Beach, and close to Fort Beekenburg. The hotel is 10 minutes away from Willemstad and 20 minutes from the Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort.
