Cooking is one of our great passions. We aren't chefs, but as we grew up we used to watch our grandmothers preparing the traditional Tuscan dishes day after day. Gestures, fragrances and flavours all form part of our history and have entered into our DNA.

In the lands around San Gimignano we grow wines and olive trees in line with the great passion that our family has handed down to us. Our winery, Sovestro in Poggio, owes its name to the hills surrounding Guardastelle.

It gives us great pleasure to be able to accompany you on guided tours of our winery and offer you the fruits of our commitment and hard work.

We will tell you all about the noble origins of our grapes, our winegrowing and harvesting, and let you see how we our Tribolo, Consesta and Irpide wines ferment and age; you will also learn how Bagatto, our extra-virgin olive oil is made by means of traditional pressing.

After the tour you can enjoy tastings of our wines and olive oil accompanied by the gastronomic delicacies produced in this territory.
