We love spending time down by the water in Connecticut and Mystic is one of our favorite places. There's some fun things to see there like Mystic Aquarium, Olde Mistake Village (for some shopping), and Mystic Seaport. The area by the drawbridge is a great area to hang out and enjoy some ice cream on a nice summer day. Make sure to check out Sift Bakery for great baked goods or S&P Oyster for a nice seafood meal overlooking Mystic River, or Abbott's Lobster In the Rough for a classic Connecticut Lobster Roll.
