The venue where we are getting married is actually a garden, there's a story to tell, beautiful plants everywhere, friendly peacocks, and there's a house where you can tour and see all kinds of old things and the house it self. If you want to come early and see everything you are more than welcome to see everything. Just go to the front office and you can purchase tickets to the garden and the house, or both!
Avery island is a few minutes away from the venue. Its the home of Tabasco hot sauce. It has jungle gardens, a huge nature preserve. You can tour the Tabasco factory and museum, see how the peppers are grown, aged, and turned into Tabasco. The barrel aging room, the bottling line, and the old family Mcllhenny artificats. You can taste different sauces-even some not sold in stores.
