I am apart of an online group where brides share their experiences about their wedding at the resort. I’ve been watching closely and all of their feedback makes me feel safe and secure about the resort. 
We were just there for a return trip last week and got married there last year. It is double gated, security at the door tracking everyone who enters and exits. Very very safe!



Finest is a gated community so there are multiple gates you have to enter to get in to the property. The drivers have to show their badge and be let in at each gate. To get through the gate at finest, the driver has to tell the security your last names, they have to find your name on the list of incoming guests before they will even let you in the property. Because it’s a gated area, the beach is private and there are zero locals walking on the beach/selling things. I stayed in riviera maya once before and there were sooo many locals selling things, trying to get us to buy massages, sunglasses, everything. It was uncomfortable and I felt unsafe leaving our belongings on the beach. That is not the case at finest at all, couldn’t feel safer !



So something I didn’t know was that finest is in a gated community so u won’t even find locals on the beach selling stuff.


I think we had to go through 3 different secured gates before getting to finest. We all felt super safe at all times. The airport transfer is private so from the airport straight to the hotel.
