The dress code for our wedding is Black Tie preferred. If you own black tie attire, we ask that you take this opportunity to wear it. If not, men are welcome to wear dark suits and women in cocktail attire.
Yes . We will provide shuttle service from The Warwick-Melrose Hotel to Perkins Chapel. The shuttle will then transport guests from Perkins Chapel to Dallas Country Club, and from Dallas Country Club back to the The Warwick-Melrose Hotel. If you prefer to drive yourself, parking is on Bishop Boulevard in front of Perkins Chapel. Parking is allowed only along both sides of the inner median. Also, parking is available at Highland Park Methodist Church, one block south of Perkins Chapel. Valet service will be provided at Dallas Country Club. Thankfully, the locations are all extremely close.
The ceremony is at Perkins Chapel on Southern Methodist University campus and will begin promptly at 7:00pm. Perkins fills up quickly, so we ask that guests allow 15-20 minutes to arrive early, park (if needed) and get seated. And don't worry, there will be plenty of A/C!
Oh yes there will be! We will have a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres at Dallas Country Club immediately following the cermony. We'll then be seated for a full meal. Lots of cake and libations as well!
While we would love to accommodate as many as possible, we do have restrictions at our venues for this big day. We kindly ask that you only bring your significant other if it is so indicated on your invitation.
