Allie Grace Klein, also known as my best friend, roommate of the past two years, and soon-to-be ex-wife is my Maid of Honor. I followed this gal from Tomball to Dallas, and as soon as my time was up at SMU you better believe I moved back in with my sister. It's been a great two years, mostly because I don't have to practice being passive aggressive. With your sister as your roommate, you can just be aggressive. It's great. She also doubled as my significant other for the past 23 years, and I am truly distraught at the thought of living in a house without her closet at my disposal. Needless to say, she's one of the most important people in my life and I need her there to hold my humongous bouquet during the ceremony.

While I believe the term "matron" could be one of the most horrendous words in the English language, Sam is in fact married. Therefore, she is my Matron of Honor. She is also married to my brother and has been a part of my life since before I graduated high school. She's seen me in my "I'm training for a track meet and eat 4,000 calories daily" phase as well as my "I'm nineteen and in college, here's a 3-minute selfie video of me at a fraternity party" phase. I'd like to think now she's experiencing my "I'm about to be married, and you're married, so can I ask your advice on this?" phase. Regardless of the phase, Sam has been there. And she's going to be there forever.

Ellie is Ben's very cool sister. Her hair sprouts out of her head blonde. I've never met any "blonde" whose hair actually sprouts out of their scalp blonde. Anyway, Ellie is the first person who introduced me to Golden Goose sneakers. For those of you unfamiliar, these are very chic tennis shoes that very chic girls wear. I'd like to think I'm marrying a man who cares about style because of Ellie. All of this is to say that Ellie is very cool, a very graceful ballerina, very stylish, and a great future sister in law. She'll be in the states from their home in Russia. And she has a handsome long haired weenie dog. If it means I will look more chic, I will gladly have Ellie stand next to me on my wedding day. I'll also take her for life.

(Note to the reader: the order of bridesmaids is based on how long I have known the girl. It makes things easier on me). Kaitlin Duffy. Not sure where to begin other than she is the definition of the best friend a gal could have. We met like a million years ago through church and school and went on to experience a lot of life together. Kaitlin was the captain of our high school volleyball team, was/is still the only person I feel on this earth loves the Jonas Brothers as much as me, and helped to take care of my elderly grandmother when she lived in Nacogdoches. Kaitlin has a heart of gold and is one of the best dancers I've ever graced a dance floor with. She's helped me to embrace my Houston roots by learning every word to every Slim Thugg song, but also lifts me up in prayer when I'm having a rough week. Truly a best friend for life.

Have known Caroline as long as Kaitlin, but in my head "Kaitlin and Caroline" flows better than "Caroline and Kaitlin". Is this wrong? There's a video circulating on the dark web of a brace-faced, tall and lanky Caroline Wendling singing Jibbs' "Chain Hang Low" (2006) rap song. Not pictured in that video: a 5'9" Leslie Klein, also brace-faced, with bangs and CVS boxed hilights, laughing hysterically wishing I went to Caroline's middle school. The great thing for us is that we ended up going to the same high school and even spent a year going to college together. Caroline is a constant in my life and always will be. She has a beautiful singing voice, not so beautiful music taste. She wears red lipstick to go to a workout class, and loves tequila the same way I do. Why wouldn't she be next to me on my wedding day?

Olivia Buerkle is one of the first people I met when I came to SMU. I remember stalking her Instagram and thinking she was so funny for posting a picture of herself frowning at a concert in Austin and captioning it "Blues on the Green". Get it? It's funny. She and I did literally everything together in college, have some stories I shan't share on this website, and share some of my fondest memories from my college years. She becomes a lil house cat when she drinks, and is the only person in my life thus far that has made me laugh so hard that I end up sobbing (not crying. Sobbing.). She's my best friend and I'm so excited that she and I are engaged together! Life is better with Olivia.

Little Emma Wesel. My sweet little Emma. Another one of my college girlfriends whom I did everything with. My favorite memories with Emma include a nightclub with Rob Gronkowski, when she told me I need to calm down. Or any class in college because, for two years, we had every single class together at SMU. She's a great accountability partner (read: "I'm going to be late, do you want anything from Starbucks?" The fun thing about Emma is that she truly will be in my life forever because her boyfriend and Ben are besties. It's a win win!

Yet again - I've known Emma and Jessica for the same amount of time. However, in my head "Emma and Jessica" flows better. Not sure. Jessica Winter is a great friend, she's absolutely hilarious, she will call you out 100% and will put her foot in her mouth. It's happened. I've seen it all. She's a brilliant girl full of sarcasm and quick-witted jokes. Again, my college (and post-college) life is intertwined with Jessie Girlie and her cutie boyfriend who is also one of Ben's best friends. Glad we're past our days of Bud Light Platinums before Homebar and are in our adult days of fraudulently going to Grape Creek Vineyard as Matt and Kim Klein. Success!

Last but not least, my best gal Courtney. While we technically only met 2 and a half years ago, I feel like we've been best friends forever. Courtney and I work together, but it's so much more than that. We spent nine weeks of training for our job together, basically going back to college with study parties and panic text messages. We text each other good morning and good night. We literally talk all day every day. Courtney has gotten me through some of the toughest times both at work and in personal life. I think I owe her a kidney. She's truly a rock in my life. She also has gotten me on many new habits including, but not limited to: wearing tennis skirts outside of playing tennis, using the word "fling" or "flinging" as a verb, using a weird country accent when imitating any man, drinking cab, watching hockey, etc.
