Brian proposes to Lex on this day in Cape Cod with an elaborately planned and romantic message in a bottle.

After dining at the The Red Inn, in Provincetown, Brian and Lex went for a walk on the beach behind the restaurant. Brian had Katie hide this bottle, containing the proposal letter, on the beach before the dinner reservation. Lex stumbled upon the bottle and was shocked to discover that the letter was indeed written for her! Even though she asked for more time before officially announcing and planning a wedding, she did say yes!
