Jackson and Lexie’s story began in July 2022 at a student housing complex in Raleigh, NC. Lexie had just graduated from James Madison University and moved to Raleigh to start a new job, temporarily subleasing an apartment in the student housing complex. One evening, Lexie and her friend Katie decided to check out the party scene. Lexie jokingly said, “This is a college apartment, there’s gotta be a party here.” Sure enough, after hearing music down the hall, they knocked on a door, and that’s when she met Jackson, who was in the middle of winning a hand of poker. Just a couple days later, they were officially dating. Fast forward two years, and they’re now planning their wedding!

Jackson grew up in Wilmington, NC and spent seven years as a surf instructor at Carolina Beach, NC. Meanwhile, Lexie grew up in Richmond, VA, and although they were from different places, fate had a way of bringing them together. During the first part of their relationship, while Jackson was teaching surf lessons in Carolina Beach and Lexie was living in Raleigh, they made some of their most special memories together by the ocean. That’s why they chose Carolina Beach for their special day—it’s a place that holds so many meaningful moments for them as a couple.
