25 Days To Go!

1. What events are taking place over the wedding weekend?

It’s a full weekend of celebrations, starting with an icebreaker event on Friday and ending with a Brunch on Sunday – both optional, of course. Just let us know what you’ll attend in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Friday evening @ 6pm: Welcome aperitivo at Moss Events, in Bergamo city centre.

Saturday @ 3:30pm: Wedding ceremony, reception and party at Castello di Clanezzo.

Sunday morning @10am: Brunch together at Hotel Settecento

Please note that the wedding ceremony & speeches will be in English.

2. Is there a dress code for each event?

Friday: Look nice, but no need to go all out – it's an elegant city bar in Bergamo.

Saturday: Cocktail dresses for the ladies, suits for the gents. Summery pastel colours for bonus points!

Sunday: Sweatpants, sundresses, shorts – whatever you feel good in.

3. What’s on the menu?

German meat and potatoes. Just kidding, it’s delicious local Italian cuisine, and lots of it. Start fasting now.

4. Are dietary requirements accommodated?

Yes, just please let us know in the RSVP so we can plan ahead (unless you want to add Parmesan on your fish pasta, that the Italians will not allow).

5. Can I bring a plus one?

If your partner is invited, their name will be included in your invitation. We wish we could extend the invite to everyone’s plus one, but we planned the guest list to include as many of our closest friends and family as we could, so we had to make some tough decisions. We hope you understand.

6. What about little ones?

We’ve designed the weekend with adults in mind so we can celebrate and party with our friends and family, allowing all guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and fun. We therefore advise leaving the little ones at home, but if that would stop you from joining us, reach out so we can find a solution together.

7. What’s the weather like in June in that part of Italy?

Daytime highs: around 25–28°C (in silly units that’s about 77–82°F)

Evening lows: around 15–18°C (59–64°F)

The weather is usually warm and sunny (bring a hat, sunscreen and sunnies) with potentially light rain or the occasional thunderstorms. It’s a great time of year, just bring layers in case the evenings get cooler. Also, bring some bug spray if you are really sensitive to mosquitoes (but the venue’s garden is treated).

8. Is there a wedding registry?

Many of you are coming from far away, and celebrating with you all is more than enough of a gift. If you really can't resist, we will appreciate any contribution to our honeymoon by following the instructions in the 'Honeymoon Fund' section of our website
