Visit the museum that is hosting our wedding. It is the nation’s museum for self-taught, intuitive artistry. The museum consists of three separate buildings showcasing unique artworks. The Sculpture Barn and Garden, where our wedding takes place is just a glimpse of the visionary art that is on display inside the other two buildings. They are open Wednesday- Sunday 10:00 am- 5:00 pm and tickets are available online or in person.
Visit Fort McHenry, where the Battle of Baltimore took place and Francis Scott Key was inspired to write the Star Spangled Banner. It is free to walk around the perimeter of the fort and has lovely views of the inner harbor of Baltimore.
Explore the neighborhood of Federal Hill. It has lots of great food and stores to check out. Not too far from the main street is Federal Hill Park which has an amazing view of the Baltimore skyline and the inner harbor. One of our favorite places to check out is Cross Street Market!
If you're staying for the weekend, another great neighborhood to explore is Fells Point. This area features cobblestone roads right on the water. It is a beautiful place to explore with lots of shops and restaurants. Little Italy is also not too far from here if you are looking for some great Italian food.
