the newman center stairs
before fin knew liam he was friends with her older sister avery. little did she know that avery and liam were both scheming to get them together.
finley started going to the newman center the beginning of her senior year, but one night at sursum corda she had decided she didn’t know if the newman center was the right fit for her, and that she didn’t want to come back.
that night fin walked out of the church doors, right as liam walked up the newman center stairs.
avery was with her and introduced her little sister to liam. leaving fin and liam to talk for a bit. they enjoyed each other’s company and liam asked fin if she was going to be at sunday supper the next week, and if she was going to be there, he would save her a seat. again, fin had decided she did not want to come back to the newman center, but I guess his charm made coming again seem easy. a week goes by and finley was so scared that he had forgotten all about her and what he had said about saving her a seat. she walks down those steps and sees him with his friends at a table.... he did indeed save her a seat.
a moment in colorado
december 2022.
fin met liam’s parents and spent a few days in colorado.
where they enjoyed walking through the denver art museum (saints, sinners, lovers, & fools)
ate tempura udon ramen and walked around the 16th street mall before spending the rest of the night sipping cocoa and cider walking around the botanical gardens in the frigid weather.
later that weekend they spent the day in estes park with the slavin crew, fin quickly fell in love with his family.
fancy date
the day liam asked fin out, she had requested to go on a fancy date. after a little bit of time passed by, he had created the most wonderful night any girl who grew up watching hallmark could ask for.
the Lord works in mysterious ways.
He brought both of us the soul we needed to help each other become saints on this march to heaven.
above all we give thanks to our Lord for bringing us together, as we strive towards agape love.
God is so good.
