-nemo road. there may not be cell service, but the drive is just so lovely

-up needles highway. one of mr. craven's favorites

-around west blvd. grab a coffee and admire the historical houses that look like they came straight out of hallmark

whether it be from afar or up close, thankfully the rapid city dinosaurs don't bite.....great place to take your loved ones, not only to see the huge dino on the hill but the view of rapid from the top of the hill is beautiful.

woah, this place is beautiful! a great place for pictures or some late night star gazing (make sure to bring some tasty treats and fuzzy blankets)

-bokujo ramen (the best ramen we have ever had, try the bison bone ramen with some sake in hand)

-harriet & oak (fun fact: this was where our first date was, make sure to find a window seat and grab a hot pot of tea and channel your inner fin and liam;)

-golden phoenix (i mean just channel your inner fin lol)

-the millstone family restaurant (very cozy, and tasty)

-silver lining creamery (if you are looking for something sweet, the sage & honey lavender flavors are some of our favorites)

-thai thai

(many craven birthdays and holidays were celebrated here)

-guadalajara (fin and her mom have gone to guadalajaras every friday in the summer for the past 4 years! if you are willing to travel a little ways out of rapid, this place is so worth it! we recommend the shredded beef enchiladas)

popular little towns that tourists love to visit are:

-keystone (such a sweet little place to visit, sweet shops and very tasty food)

-hill city (home of the alpine inn, mhmm european cuisine. very tasty) (the alpine inn is cash only)

-deadwood (casinos galore that's for sure! but they do indeed have free re-enactments which is fun for the whole family.

-custer (driving around custer state park is a family favorite)

-spearfish (i think you will quickly fall in love with the charm of downtown spearfish, full of sweet local shops and plenty of tasty dine in restaurants)

this train goes from hill city to keystone and from keystone to hill city. a super fun way to tour two beloved towns in the black hills. a super fun ride for the family)
