Libby visits Josh's hometown in Connecticut for the first time. She fell in love with his family instantly!

And one month later, Josh visited Oklahoma and met Libby's family for the first time. This trip is a very special memory for us. For the first time, we had a small conversation about the future of our relationship!

We both happened to be Washington state at the same time. So, naturally, Libby asked her dad to drive a 3-hour round trip to pick him up... Worth it.

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Connecticut together! Apparently, we like gazebos. Also, sometime around here we passed our 1-year dating mark.The official date is still unclear... oh well!

We went to Florida with Libby's family to watch Sydney play soccer. Josh officially asked permission to marry Libby on this trip!

The big proposal!!! From the moment Josh asked Libby's Dad to marry her, both the Kitchen family and the Schutz family began planning to pull off the surprise. This is one of the only moments in Libby's life she hasn't found out a surprise early!
