Libby and Eric might never have met if Marie Curie hadn’t discovered radium in 1898.

Many years after that world-changing scientific discovery, Eric wrote a musical about Marie and, in another world-changing event, Libby was cast to play the Nobel Prize-winning scientist in a workshop of the show.

A friendship began and, after Libby moved to New York, they started dating. Since then, they’ve traveled the world, quarantined on Cape Cod, made a home in Manhattan, and Eric went shopping for a really great ring.

In December of 2022, they were wandering the streets of a small Austrian village and came upon a vista looking over the entire town. Eric proposed as Libby’s family watched from nearby.

And now we’re headed back to Cape Cod in June of 2024 because Libby said YES!
