March 18th, 1995Lilah is born. She is the loudest baby in the hospital. March 31st, 1995Tommy is born. He’s surprisingly quiet, but that doesn’t last long.&nbsp; December 27th, 1995Timothée Chalamet is born. He is not relevant to this story.&nbsp; September, 2013Tommy and Lilah begin their freshman year at Indiana University. They are introduced by a mutual friend in the dining hall. Tommy thinks Lilah is cute, Lilah thinks her baked ziti is under-seasoned.&nbsp; October, 2013Tommy sits in front of Lilah during the mid-term exam of their Media 101 class. He asks her for a pen, she doesn’t have one. Tommy secretly had a pen the whole time.&nbsp; October, 2013Lilah and Tommy sit next to each other on the bus ride home for fall break. Lilah tries to impress Tommy with her knowledge of 2013 cultural icon Macklemore. Tommy returns the favor by falling asleep on her.&nbsp; November, 2013 – March, 2014Tommy and Lilah run into each other all over campus. Tommy tries to find reasons to talk to Lilah. Lilah tries to find ways to season her baked ziti.&nbsp; April 25th, 2014Lilah and Tommy reconnect and finally decide to go on a date. Lilah almost cancels, but decides to see what happens. They eat hot dogs in her dorm room and watch the first half of Inside Llewyn Davis on Lilah’s laptop. They pause the movie to chat, and end up talking all night.&nbsp; 2014-2016Lilah and Tommy fall in love, eat a lot of bread sticks, go on road trips, see comedy shows, and occasionally go to class.&nbsp; August, 2016Tommy transfers to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Lilah stays in Bloomington to finish her senior year. So begins three years of long distance.&nbsp; July, 2017Lilah moves to LA. She and Tommy visit each other when they can, and talk on the phone daily. They pretend that the situation is much easier than it is. Tommy sees a lot of movies alone.&nbsp; March 4th, 2018Timothée Chalamet is nominated for an Oscar for his performance in Call Me By Your Name and— get out of here, Timmée! This isn’t about you!&nbsp; June, 2019Tommy moves to LA. Reunited and it feels so good!&nbsp; 2019-2021Tommy and Lilah explore LA, move in together, lock down for covid, and get food poisoning on a Thanksgiving trip to the mountains.&nbsp; March 12th, 2021Tommy and Lilah adopt their two cats, Toby and Hank. Finally, their lives have meaning. 2021-2023Tommy and Lilah fall more and more in love… with their cats. The cats feel neutral leaning positive about Tommy and Lilah. November 7th, 2023Tommy takes Lilah on a hike at Los Leones Canyon in Pacific Palisades, CA. At the top, with a view of the LA skyline to the east, and the Pacific Ocean to the west, Tommy proposes. Lilah says yes! They try to call their family to share the news, but don’t have any cell phone reception.&nbsp; April 26th, 2024Under the stars of Joshua Tree, the day after their tenth anniversary and one year before their wedding, Lilah proposes back. Tommy says yes!&nbsp; April 26th, 2025Lilah and Tommy get married. That’s where you come in! We can’t wait to celebrate with you, our favorite guest (don’t tell the other guests, they wouldn’t understand)!&nbsp; November 4th, 2064Timothée Chalamet is elected for the first of his four terms as President of the United States. Hey, we knew it would come back around! Way to go, Timmée! September, 2073Intergalactic President Chalamet gives Tommy the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his humanitarian work on Mars. Lilah attends via hologram from space prison.

Our Story

The two best options when flying into Los Angeles are: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)LAX typically has the best rates and most flight options. It is further from our venue, but it is easy to rent a car, catch an Uber, or take the Flyaway shuttle bus. Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR)Burbank Airport is smaller, but easier to travel in and out of. The flights can be more expensive, but for the convenience, it can't be beat. From here, you can rent a car, or hail an Uber or Taxi.

In the heart of the action, everything you want to see, from the beach to the walk of fame, is a quick drive or train ride away. The Sheraton Grand has private access to the 7th Street Metro Center through the BLOC shopping plaza, and is only a fifteen minute drive from the wedding venue. Sheraton Grand Los Angeles

The best way to get around Los Angeles with ease is to rent a car. However, Ubers and Lyfts are plentiful, and are a great option for those who don't want to drive. One of the hotel blocks is located in Downtown LA, which is a public transportation hub. Getting Around LA

For those driving to the wedding, complimentary valet services will be provided. If you are traveling without a car, we will have a Lyft discount code available for use on the day of the wedding. If you are taking public transportation, the 81 bus, or the Metro A-Line train will take you within walking distance of the wedding venue.
