There are a lot of hotels in the area.

Depending on your availability there will be a rehearsal event for everyone to enjoy in the evening the day before the wedding (July 3rd). So you may want to fly in the morning. If you plan to come to the wedding and stay the weekend, flying July 3rd in the evening is good as well!

San Diego Airport or LAX are both good options. The San Diego Airport is a bit closer but LAX is a bit cheaper.

We have planned a few activities for the weekend following the wedding. We would love to spend as much time as with everyone as we can! There is a lot of fun thinking to do in the area so we have also added a list of alternate things to do other the weekend.
