Kyle and Lily met back in July of 2017. They both had decided to volunteer at their church in Burnsville. Prior to this, they had never talked before, but God decided to intervene and he placed them in the same volunteer group together. They immediately hit it off and began talking more often. A few months later, Kyle asked Lily to homecoming. That was the very beginning of their relationship. They began to do many things together like attend concerts and see movies. In April of 2018, they decided to make it official and Kyle asked Lily to be his girlfriend.

From there, Kyle and Lily have done everything together. Some of their favorite things they’ve done together are trips to Duluth, drive in movies, and trying many new restaurants. Over the many years they have been together, they have gotten to experience multiple life events with each other. Some memorable ones have been both of their high school graduations, acceptances to different colleges, Kyle’s college graduation, adopting a dog, and many more. Through many obstacles, Kyle and Lily have worked extremely hard to get to where they are today, individually, and as a couple. They wouldn't have been able to walk through any of it without God's unconditional love and guidance. He has worked in their relationship in astounding ways. They both have learned to consistently trust God and lean on each other whenever life gets difficult.

Finally, after many years, Kyle decided to put a ring on it. He had everything for the proposal planned out. But when an unexpected illness came over Lily, he had to quickly adapt and change plans. Instead of his original plan, Kyle took Lily on a peaceful and intimate walk to a nearby lake. As they walked the trail, they eventually came to a bridge that crossed over the beautiful water and evening sun. That is when Kyle got on one knee and asked Lily to spend the rest of her life with him. She was very surprised and extremely excited. It was the easiest decision she ever had to make. They are both so excited for this next chapter in life together and they can’t wait to see how God works in their future marriage.
