The Tigers are playing the Anaheim Angels this weekend in Detroit. Game times are Friday August 8 at 7:10pm and Sunday August 10 at 1:40pm.
This place is fascinating if you enjoy motor vehicle history as well as an overall very entertaining experience. The groom once spent 2.5 hours in the interactive portion of this museum.
We've never been. ...mainly because we don't understand art. But, for those more enlightened of our guests, it's apparently "amazing".
The spa at this hotel is one of our favorites. There are also shows periodically and several restaurants.
The favorite restaurant of the bride and groom. Some claim it is not the best in the area and, while an argument for "The Highlands" is a good one, we, respectfully, disagree. If you go, ensure you get a table-side traditional caesar and the baked brie dessert.
This is the location where the couple got engaged! It possesses absolutely stunning views of both Canada and Detroit. You can't help but feel "above" normal people when eating here.
- The bride would like to warn people who also may have developed a random fear of heights as they've aged: "The elevator is seriously scary".
This is a fun activity spot with batting cages, go-karts, indoor driving ranges with ball tracking technology, bowling, and arcade games.
- The groom would like everyone who plans on using the batting cages that "75 MPH is actually a lot faster than you think".
This is a surprisingly big zoo with a plethora of animals and TONS of information. The groom once tried to read all the signage in a day and was quoted as saying, "This is impossible, right? Who retains this much information?" several times during the day. It also has a 4D theatre.
