Once upon a time, in a quiet corner of a charming little town, a lonely man sat at a bar, lost in thought. Little did he know, that evening would be the start of something extraordinary. Into the room stepped a woman with a spark in her eye and a smile that seemed to light up the space, her cheerful friend by her side. The woman at the end of the bar made her way toward him, confident and radiant. With a sparkle in her eye, she reached out and said, “Hi, I’m Linda.” The man’s heart skipped a beat, disbelief and curiosity mingling as he took her hand. Behind her, her animated friend silently mouthed, “She likes you,” giving him a secret nudge of encouragement. With a newfound courage, he shook her hand and replied, “Hi, I’m Bill.” And in that instant, their story began—two paths crossing in the most unexpected way, setting the stage for a lifetime of adventures to come. As the night unfolded, they would discover that some stories are written in the stars, and that love can bloom in the most unlikely of places. And so, their journey begins—one chapter at a time.

He’s the Vibe Architect who can turn any room into a celebration, a skilled MC who guides the moment with wit and charm, and a friendship-fueled, squad-level pal whose playlist is full of inside jokes and curated memories. Behind the scenes, Brice offers calm support, pep talks, and thoughtful coordination to ensure the day runs smoothly, all wrapped in a sharp, warm smile and a flair for fun. If you want a moment that feels like a high-five from your best friend, Brice is your guy.

Linda and Michelle became best friends in the 8th grade, but their connection runs even deeper—Jen has known Michelle since first grade and introduced her to Linda at Jen’s birthday party in the 5th grade. Because Michelle attended a different school, they didn’t become close until junior high, when their bond truly blossomed. Michelle is a successful powerhouse in the business world, embodying strength, confidence, and determination. Her fierce ambition and unwavering support have been a guiding force in the bride’s life. Today, Michelle stands proudly by Linda, celebrating a friendship that has stood the test of time and the promise of new beginnings.

Meet Sunshine, one of the bride’s beloved bridesmaids. Sunshine has been a part of the bride’s life since the 7th grade. Fun fact: Sunshine was a grade ahead, but she’s always been like a big sister to the bride. There was a time when the bride was painfully shy, but Sunshine stepped in offering love, encouragement, and support. Because of Sunshine’s unwavering friendship, the bride blossomed into the confident, strong woman she is today. Today, Sunshine isn’t just a bridesmaid—she’s family, a lifelong sister in heart and spirit, and her presence is a treasured part of this special day.

Meet Wade—Bride’s close friend turned official groomsman, and the founder of the “Wade Tests.” Wade’s been the bride’s confidant since forever, but then the groom strutted onto the scene and decided to earn his spot in Wade’s heart (and the wedding party).

Not one to make things easy, Wade set the bar high with his legendary “Wade Tests”—three challenges so intense they could make a survivalist sweat. None of Linda’s past love interests has ever passed all three, (most didn’t get past the first round)... until the groom stepped up and proved he was worthy. Wade, feeling both impressed and slightly competitive, then whipped up a final, mysterious “Wade Test,” the details of which remain a secret to this day.

Spoiler alert: the groom aced it, and Wade now proudly stands beside him, still slightly surprised but totally convinced he made the right choice. The bride adores their bond, knowing that Wade’s loyalty and humor add a special spark to their lives. After all, true friendship isn’t just about passing tests — it’s about having someone who’ll challenge you, test you, and still be there with a grin. Wade: the ultimate friend, the ultimate tester, and now, the ultimate groomsman.

We’re grateful to have her as part of our wedding party, ready to share in the laughter, love, and unforgettable moments ahead.

Mackinac Island is only a 50 min drive from Gaylord and a 20 min ferry ride to the island. It's one of the most popular tourist destinations in America. This Island is a must see! It's a 20 min ferry ride from Mackinaw City. Automobiles are outlawed, so rent a bike or catch the horse drawn carriage taxis. Activities include the butterfly house, the fort, the Mission Inn, the Pink Pony restaurant, and more. Stay at the Chippewa Hotel for a blast from the past. The Bride and Groom had never experienced the island before. After many looks of disbelief from the locals, they decided to book a 2day, 1 night stay on the island! The fort and butterfly house are their favorite experiences!
