Lindsay and Troy met in Augusta, Georgia in August, 2016 and have been together pretty much every day since. Troy sang "Party in the USA" for karoake and Lindsay took notice of the rather embarrassing and not so great singing skills Troy had.

How We Met

Troy secretly planned for Lindsay's friend and Bridesmaid, Margaret Blagg, to pick Lindsay up for a girls day date of lunch, a movie and manicures. Little did Lindsay know, Troy was planning an elaborate evening for her. She walked in the door to find rose petals and clues for a scavenger hunt/puzzle for Lindsay to follow. The path of rose petals and candles led Lindsay to each clue, filling in the blanks to the puzzle. When she reached the end of the line, Troy was waiting on his knee with ring in hand to propose to the love of his life.......of course she said YES!

Details

Seth is Troy's younger brother. They share a great fondness for all things sports, especially fantasy football and baseball.  While they have lived across the country from one another, they have maintained a very close relationship.

Laura is  Lindsay's younger sister.  They have shared so many memories and adventures together through the years.  Lindsay could not be happier to have her stand beside her as she marries her best friend.

Laura Chambers Barrett

Abbie is one of Lindsay's best friends from college. They met  during their freshman year in the the dorms at UGA. They are former roommates and have logged many miles together on vacations and road trips to see the Dawgs play.

Abbie Ethun

Dylan is Troy's younger brother.  They have a shared love for the Milwaukee Brewers, and have enjoyed many Brewers tailgates together.  

Dylan Schleicher

Robert (Bob) is Troy's stepfather.  Over the many years, they have enjoyed many camping and fishing trips.  The most memorable being the time lightning struck a tree not far from their tent!  Bob taught Troy everything he knows about camping, fishing, and even hunting.

Robert Gesicki

Margaret is one of Lindsay's friends. They met working as physical therapists at the same hospital. They have become like family now and enjoy getting together weekly for a girls' night in or out.

Margaret Blagg

Sharon is one of Lindsay's friends. They met in Augusta shortly after both beginning their careers. They are former roommates and have loved being able to live in the same city and keep in touch while also enjoying some fun times of travel and adventure.

Sharon Thomas

Russ is Troy's father.  They have a passion for all things Wisconsin sports.  Troy and Russ share yearly outings in Georgia when Russ comes to visit for Troy's daughter Harper's birthday.  They love to talk politics and both tend to get into political debates on Facebook!

Russ Schleicher

Jenne is Troy's sister. Lindsay and Jenne talk about how to live with Troy and his massive love for sports and football. Jenne has shared tips on how to get through football season with Troy.

Jenne LaBarge

Nick is Troy's friend from Georgia.  Nick and Troy enjoy trivia night at The Pizza Joint in Augusta.  They met while working for hhgregg and drove almost three hours to Charlotte for training which began their friendship.

Nicholas Ruddle

Harper is Troy's daughter.  She is five years old and is the light of Troy's life.  Harper loves to laugh and giggle and is always smiling, which warms Troy's heart.

Harper Tushoski

Caroline is the niece of the bride.  Lindsay loves spending as much time with her as she can, especially if they are beach-bumming it.  Caroline loves singing, dancing, and all things Frozen or Barney.
