Our Story
The Story
Lindsay and Joe met through a mutual friend, Drew, in 2018. Joe lived at "Grandma's House" with his college roommate Drew, who was Lindsay's high school friend. During many nights out, Lindsay and Joe became friends and enjoyed spending time together. While on vacation, Lindsay and Joe video-chatted for hours one night while Lindsay was at the Tiki Bar with her cousin Katie. Lindsay even asked the bartender for a phone charger to avoid the call dropping. Both thought the other one had called first, so neither of them wanted to hang up. Who started the call is still a mystery, but they are both glad it happened! After a five hour long ice cream date at Pittsford Dairy a few weeks later, the rest was history! Joe graduated from RIT shortly after and moved back to Buffalo. They dated long distance for 3 years. In May 2022, they decided to meet in the middle and move to Batavia, NY, halfway between Buffalo and Rochester. They have shared a town-house in Batavia, NY since then. In October 2023, in Ellicottville, NY, Joe gave Lindsay the surprise of her life when he proposed on the balcony of their AirBnB. They cant wait for the wedding and to start their married life together!

Though Lindsay and Joe didn't start dating until May 2019, they spent time together as friends when Lindsay came back to Rochester on college breaks. Their friends enjoyed attending many Bills games together!
