What is the dress code?
The dress code is cocktail attire. We want our guests to look their best, while staying comfortable for our outdoor ceremony. Lindsay's dream is a colorful, floral filled more-formal Garden Party. Colors and/or Floral attire is encouraged, but not required. We put together a Look Book for some inspiration! Bridesmaids will be dressed in floor-length spring-colored dresses. Groomsmen will be dressed in black suits. Ladies, you may need to walk on grass to get to your seat, so plan shoes accordingly.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30. Please be seated no later than 4:15. If you are not staying at the hotel, please plan to arrive by 4:00 to allow time for parking and finding your seat.
Where will the events take place?
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting. Please dress accordingly as it may be warm and sunny. The reception is inside, with an attached outdoor patio. Though it is only a short walk from our ceremony to cocktail hour, transportation will be provided for those who may need it. In the event that it rains, all three events will take place in the reception space.
When and how should I RSVP?
You are welcome to RSVP at any time via our wedding website. Kindly RSVP by May 1, 2025.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We have hired a wonderful team of professional photographers and videographers who will capture our day. Because of our love for photos, there will be ample opportunity for photos throughout the evening. We ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony to allow the professionals to best capture our day. We promise to share the photos with you!
Is there a room block?
Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at Woodcliff Hotel and Spa, our venue. Guests are asked to call the hotel and request the Layer Payne Wedding Block no later than May 14, 2025. Woodcliff recently added an online option for booking, which you can find under the "Travel" tab of our wedding website! There are also other hotels close by should you not wish to stay at the venue.
Can I bring a plus one?
“Guest” will be listed on your Formal Invitation if you are able to bring a plus one. We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation join us on our special day.
Can I bring my children?
While we adore little ones, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation join us on our special day.
Is Transportation provided?
Because our hotel block is reserved at our venue, we have not reserved any transportation. There is ample parking at our venue and Ubers and Lyfts are typically readily available.
What time will the wedding end?
The wedding will end promptly at 11:00. However, we invite all guests to join us in the hotel bar for late night bites and drinks!
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, our wedding will feature an open bar until 11:00. If you decide to join us for Welcome Drinks or the After Party, please bring cash or card to pay at the bar.
