Our Wedding

In the summer of '23, we met on an online dating app called Hinge. After an initial spark, we were so eager to officially meet each other. 8/1/23 marks our 1st date at The Optimist, a well-known seafood restaurant in Atlanta. While sharing our love of seafood, we got to know each other and quite literally shut the restaurant down 4 hours later. Daniel planned and took Lindsay on 4 dates in the first week. Our 2nd date was a picnic at Piedmont Park, with charcuterie, wine, and Daniel's dog, Bubba. Let's just say, by the end of the date, Bubba was kissing Lindsay too! Our 3rd and 4th dates involved meeting some of Daniel's closest friends. And the rest is history... We fell hard and fast for one another. Over the course of our first year of dating, we have grown together in immense ways. We have taken on each other's hobbies. Daniel embraced Lindsay's love for running, and together, we ran a half marathon in Nashville, just a few months into dating. Daniel and Lindsay bring out each other's crafty, creative sides. Lindsay has become passionate about woodworking and snow skiing since she met Daniel. Together, we have built furniture and shared a love for interior design. We love to spend our evenings cooking together and dancing in the kitchen. We have traveled the world together &amp; hope to continue to share this love for adventure in our marriage. Some of our favorite cities we have explored include Charleston, Nashville, Key West, Breckenridge, Rosemary Beach, Budapest, Prague, Paris, Lake Como, Portofino, Santa Margherita. Our first vacation together was to Charleston, a place we both loved so much individually and now love even more together. A place we can’t wait to celebrate our love story with YOU! A year and some change after we met, we got engaged in Lake Como, Italy. Daniel planned the most perfect surprise trip with letters revealing each day's itinerary. On 8/30/24, Daniel executed an intimate proposal with the most stunning backdrop -- a day that will be engrained in our memories forever. This season of engagement makes us feel so loved and celebrated by each and every one of you, our favorite people. Taking this next step of marriage is something we both have been looking forward to since early on in our relationship. So, we decided to celebrate our special day with you in a place that means so much to us and our love story. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you in historic, charming ~Charleston~! August 1st will forever be our most special day. With it being Lindsay's parents' wedding anniversary, the first day we met, and our future wedding date, we could not have picked a more special day.
