As is only fitting, Josh and Lindsay met in the pub.

It was a mild October night in 2020, exactly one week after Lindsay touched down in England. Both were enrolled in the Heritage Studies MPhil at Cambridge, and after learning that their colleges were next door to each other, they shared the walk home from the Elm Tree, debating whether the Arctic Monkeys' new stuff is as good as the old (final verdict still pending). Following a few weeks of firm friendship, a romantic walk to Grantchester, and the purchase of a metallic lawn flamingo named Miami Steve, Josh and Lindsay became official.

Josh proposed to Lindsay on Frenchman's Beach on the windswept isle of Inishmore in May 2023, and they immediately celebrated with an epic Bruce Springsteen concert in Dublin. The consistency in quality of Bruce Springsteen's work, unlike Alex Turner's, is not up for debate.

Lindsay is now working for the Art Fund in London and Josh is finishing his PhD at Cambridge. They are excited to celebrate their next chapter with you next April in a place that has meant so much to the two of them. 💒
