As much as we would love to invite everyone, our boutique venue has a strict maximum capacity of 126 people. If your RSVP only has your name on it, please do not bring a guest.
Is the hotel block for the entire weekend?
You can use the block code to book any nights from Wednesday through Sunday, depending on your travel dates. Please make your hotel plans as soon as you can, the Democratic National Convention takes place in Chicago starting the Monday after the wedding. Hotels will be in high demand! The hotel block and other recommended hotels have free 72-hour cancellations (see the Travel tab for more information).
What’s the best way to get to the city from O'Hare or Midway airports?
O’hare:
You can take the train for $5 (blue line) or a yellow cab for ~$50 (both take credit card). The yellow cab line is outside of the O'Hare baggage claim door. The blue line is in the airport, follow the signs. The designated rideshare pick-up area can be a far walk from baggage claim (upstairs from baggage claim at departure drop offs) but is sometimes cheaper than the yellow cabs.
Midway:
Rideshare pick up zones are right outside baggage claim. There is no direct train from Midway.
Are you providing transportation to the events?
No. The hotel block is walking distance from welcome dinner/farewell brunch while the other recommended hotels on the Travel tab are quick rides away from the venue/after party. Ubers/Lyfts should be a $12 ride away from everything.
Can we give you gifts?
Only your presence! While we appreciate the thought, we are so grateful for you traveling all of this way for our special weekend. For those who cannot resist, please see the Registry tab. Thank you!
Are any events outdoor?
The ceremony and possibly part of the farewell brunch.
Where is the common area that the welcome dinner and farewell brunch are taking place?
Once you arrive to the Atwater building, let the concierge know you are going to an event at the 12th floor party room. Take the elevator to the 12th floor and follow the Atwater sign on the wall until you see a blue curtain.
What are must see's in Chicago during downtime?
Please see our suggested itinerary for visitors on the Things to Do tab!
