Our Wedding

While Lindsey began attending URJ Camp Coleman in 2004 and Josh began attending in 2005, they did not really get to know each other until much later. They lived parallel lives for a long time, just missing each other by such a small amount. They really got to know one another the summer of 2016 when they were both on staff at Coleman. They spent time chatting the whole summer. As the summer came to a close they exchanged information, hoping to keep in contact. Due to fate, Josh just so happened to be transferring to Florida State University that fall and their love story began there. Over the years they spent time together going on outdoor adventures, vacations, and finding their true callings. After graduating from Florida State, they decided it was time to take the next step. In April of 2019, Lindsey and Josh moved to Alpharetta, Georgia where Lindsey got a job as the Assistant Director of Camp Coleman and Josh got a job as a Police Officer. After a year of settling in and allowing their love for each-other and Georgia to grow, they would start a new adventure. One night, March 29th, 2020, they decided to do an "adventure challenge". This scratch off challenge was called The Helpless Baker. The instructions were to make a homemade baked dessert together. The trick was that one of them, the person with less cooking experience (obviously Josh), had to be blindfolded! Lindsey had to guide Josh to bake chocolate chip cookie cups with only three directive sentences and the ability to lead with her hands. Easier said than done! Once they got the cookies in the oven, Josh decided he would convince Lindsey that it was only fair to blindfold her to take the cookies out of the oven - don't try this at home. Not safe. After some convincing, Lindsey decided to try it. After taking the cookies out, Lindsey took off her blindfold to find Josh down on one knee proposing. Once she put her glasses on and saw what was happening, she said yes!

Lindsey and Josh have a room block held for the wedding weekend. Lindsey grew up in Plantation, Florida with passion for music, theatre, Judaism, and camp. She began attending Jewish sleep-away camp in 2004 at the age of 7 where she eventually crossed paths with Josh. She graduated from Florida State University with a major in Family and Child Sciences in May of 2019 and now works for URJ Camp Coleman as the Assistant Director after 15 years of attending as a camper and on staff.  After 3 and a half years together, Josh and Lindsey decided to get married!

Lindsey Davis

Josh grew up in Boca Raton, Florida with passion for sports, history, and camp.  In 2016 during his 3rd year on staff at URJ Camp Coleman, he got to know Lindsey. He then graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Criminology in December of 2018. He proceeded to work for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement before moving to Georgia with Lindsey to pursue a career as a Police Officer. After living in Atlanta for one year, he decided it was time to propose.

Lindsey and Lauren have never known life without one another. They are identical twins and have spent most of their lives being around and living with one another. They love to go on hikes, sing together, travel to unique places, binge watch TV Shows, and MUCH more.  Lauren is so proud of the woman Lindsey has become and is so excited to be right by her side on her wedding day!

Leia's life would not have been the same without her big sister Lindsey. From the day she was born, Lindsey was alongside her, supporting her every inch of the way. They had a mutual understanding that no matter what, they could count on each other. The bond between these two is unique and undying. They love spending their days together, just savoring each moment and enjoying the other’s presence. Leia feels honored to be by Lindsey’s side as they celebrate this significant moment in her life.

Ryan and Josh have been close for their entire lives. As brothers, some of the things they enjoy doing most together are watching sports, going on trips, and fishing together. Ryan cannot wait to be with Josh as he walks down the aisle.

Lindsey and Alahni met during their freshman year at Florida State University. They were pretty instant friends and have been bonded ever since. They have experienced so much from exploring the mountains to countless sleepovers to adopting Alahni’s first dog together. Alahni is so happy to be able to stand by Lindsey’s side as she marries the love of her life and wishes her nothing but a lifetime of happiness on her special day.

Lindsey and Jessie (aka the triplet) met at URJ Camp Coleman back in the summer of 2008! They quickly became friends which lead to so many more adventures together! From camp to NFTY events, to FSU and now working side by side in Atlanta they have been through so much. Jessie can’t wait to standby Lindsey’s side and celebrate this beautiful milestone together.

Lindsey and Courtney met the Summer of 2005 at Camp Coleman in cabin GS3. The two instantly connected and became the best of friends. Over the years, the two have grown up, traveled, attended Pentatonix concerts, and celebrated holidays together. They have countless memories and are excited for all the more to come!

Lindsey and Jena met at URJ Camp Coleman over a decade ago, can you believe it?! They quickly became dearest friends and closest confidantes throughout their camper years and became even closer as adults, learning and growing together, and always having each other’s backs! This led to countless more adventures: Camping, coffee dates, pumpkin patch visits, hibachi dinners, and road trips whilst escaping hurricanes. Jena can’t wait to be by Lindsey’s side for the big day!

Lindsey has been there since the week Katherine was born. As she grew up, they have grown together and helped each other become the strong individuals that they are. As forever travel roomies, they have really enjoyed their quality time in the staterooms aboard whatever cruise they were on! Katherine is thrilled to be apart of Lindsey's wedding party and is so excited to see her walk down the aisle.

Troy came into Lindsey's life when he was in high school. Becoming siblings has only brought more love and joy into their family. Soon after, Josh and Lindsey began dating. Since then, they have gotten to spend lots of time together from their trips to the Keys to their action packed family Caribbean cruises. Troy is excited to spend Lindsey and Josh's special day with them and looks forward to a lifetime of more fun and adventure!

When Chad met Lindsey, they became instant siblings! Although Chad was in college and away from home at that point, they grew close. Now he has come to have many fun adventures with both Lindsey and Josh over the past 4 years. Some of their favorite things to do together are traveling and hanging out at big family gatherings. Chad can't wait to be by their side on their big day.

Lee has known Lindsey since 2008 and then met Josh at camp on staff many years later. Ever since they have all been close. When Josh and Lee became roommates at FSU, they got to know each other very well and their relationship remained strong when moving to Atlanta. They particularly love hiking, going shooting, and fishing together.  Lee is so happy that they found each other and is so excited to be there for the both of them!

Billy and Josh became good friends in high school and they have remained close over the years. Some of the things they have enjoyed over the years are going to Marlins games, playing baseball, and fishing. Billy is looking forward to being there for Josh on his big day!
