Kelli - Maid of Honor

Picture of Kelli - Maid of Honor

Kelli, Lindsey's Maid of Honor and little sister, has been her partner-in-crime through it all. With a four-year age gap, they had their fair share of childhood bickering - think epic battles over who got the front seat. But now, Kelli is Lindsey's confidante and friend. Kelli's sense of humor usually has the family cracking up, and she's never afraid to tell it like it is. Even after she chased her dreams to Nashville a few years ago, the sisterly bond stays strong with late-night Facetime calls, swapping stories and dishing out that classic sisterly advice, whether they ask for it or not. From shared memories of growing up to her unwavering support, Kelli's the only one Lindsey could imagine by her side as she says "I do."

John - Best Man

Picture of John - Best Man

Matt and John met in 2024 and bonded instantly over their shared sense of humor, which tends to lean toward the wildly inappropriate (and usually wildly hilarious). Their friendship took off faster than a golf cart on turbo mode, and it’s been nonstop laughs ever since.

Conveniently, John is married to Stacey, one of Lindsey’s bridesmaids and best friends, so the whole crew is basically one big happy (and slightly chaotic) family. At any given moment, you’ll find Matt and John lifting weights, fishing, golfing, or inventing questionable sports like “pinecone H-O-R-S-E.” Whatever they’re doing, one thing’s guaranteed: they’re laughing their butts off and probably making everyone around them do the same.

John’s loyalty, humor, and ability to turn anything into an adventure make him the perfect best man and the ultimate partner-in-crime for Matt.

Sam
Sam - Matron of Honor
Sam and Lindsey go way back. Like, “survived high school, college, and questionable fashion choices together” back. They were college roommates, partners in crime, and co-authors of a long list of dumb decisions that somehow didn’t get them incarcerated. Through every late-night heart-to-heart, every chaotic adventure, and every “what were we thinking?” moment, Sam has been Lindsey's rock. When Sam got married, Lindsey had the honor of standing by her side as her maid of honor, a role she took seriously, despite the glitter, tears, and champagne-fueled dance moves. Now, the tables have turned, and Lindsey couldn’t be more thrilled to have Sam returning the favor. Sam is now a mom to two beautiful kiddos, married to a truly wonderful guy, and basically living the kind of life Lindsey aspires to. She’s an embodiment of grace, strength, and unconditional friendship, and Lindsey is beyond lucky to have her standing beside her as she takes this next big step.
Kerrie
Kerrie - Bridesmaid
Kerrie and Lindsey go way back. Specifically, to second grade, where they first met and did not hit it off. (Let's just say they were eight-year-olds with very different recess agendas.) But somewhere between snack time and senior year, they grew into an unshakable friendship that’s lasted decades, even though they spent most of their lives growing up in different states. Distance never stood a chance against these two. Whether it was long phone calls or chaotic visits, they always found a way to stay close. Kerrie is the kind of person who lights up a room, makes friends with strangers in seconds, and always has a smile that says, “Let’s do something slightly reckless but totally fun.” Her adventurous spirit has nudged Lindsey out of her comfort zone more times than she can count, and she's better for it. Having her by Lindsey's side on this day feels perfectly right, because she’s been there through every twist, turn, and spontaneous adventure along the way.
Stacey
Stacey - Bridesmaid
Stacey and Lindsey only met in 2024, but somehow skipped the awkward small talk phase and went straight to “did we just become best friends?” territory. They accidentally wear the same outfits more often than is statistically reasonable, and she’s the kind of friend who makes life feel like a well-organized (and fabulously catered) event. She’s a master planner, a hostess with the mostest, and the human embodiment of a Pinterest board come to life. Whether she’s color-coding spreadsheets or throwing a themed dinner party, Stacey does it all with style, humor, and heart. Lindsey couldn’t imagine this day without her by her side, mostly because she’s probably already made a checklist for it.
Shelby
Shelby - Bridesmaid
Shelby and Lindsey met through CrossFit, and it didn’t take long to realize they were a match made in competitive heaven. Her small-but-fierce stature paired with Lindsey's height made them an unstoppable duo. Most of their competitions happened because Shelby strongarmed Lindsey into signing up (literally and figuratively), but once it was all said and done, they never regretted a single one. Whether they're crushing workouts or drinking one too many Wet Woody’s with questionable decision-making skills, they always manage to have an epic time. Shelby brings energy, laughter, and just the right amount of peer pressure to keep life exciting. Lindsey couldn’t imagine this day without her, though she's still half-expecting her to turn it into a team WOD.
David
David - Groomsman
David and Matt may be brothers by blood, but they became friends over all-you-can-eat sushi lunches and in-depth video game discussions. They experienced Japan together, eating ramen and gas station egg salad sandwiches, and exploring multi-floor arcades. David’s easygoing sense of humor and steady presence make him an essential part of Matt’s life and a proud groomsman on the big day.
Jeff
Jeff - Groomsman
Matt met Jeff when he joined Jeff’s CrossFit gym (the same gym where Matt and Lindsey eventually met). They quickly bonded over a shared love of fitness, a sharp sense of humor, and a knack for just generally having a good time. Jeff’s upbeat camaraderie and "down for anything" attitude have been constants through countless WODs and weekend adventures. It only makes sense that he would be standing by Matt's side.
Scott
Scott - Groomsman
Scott met both Matt and Lindsey at their CrossFit gym and quickly became part of the crew. Their friendship grew through hockey games, cold beers, and trips to Tahoe. Scott’s willingness to help, and near-constant smile make him someone everyone leans on, along with a well-earned reputation for resilience (seriously, the guy’s had about 873 ACL surgeries). For all those reasons, Scott is a natural choice to stand beside Matt on the wedding day.

Parents of the Bride

Karen and Al have been married for nearly 30 years, and their love story is one Lindsey has admired her entire life, starting from the moment she was carried down the aisle at their wedding.

Their relationship has been a beautiful example of devotion, kindness, and partnership. As parents, they’ve been endlessly supportive, loving, and encouraging, always guiding Lindsey to be the best version of herself.

This wedding would not be possible without their generosity, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Karen and Al have already accepted Matt as their beloved son-in-law, and have shown nothing but excitement and happiness for the couple.

Lindsey is deeply grateful for everything Karen and Al have poured into her life, and she’s honored to celebrate this next chapter with them by her side.

Parents of the Groom

Susan and Mark will reach their 47th anniversary when Lindsey and Matt tie the knot. They are proud parents of three wonderful children, with Matt being the youngest. They met when they were 17 years old while working at the A&P grocery store in Virginia Beach, though they didn't start "digging" each other until a few years later.

From the moment Lindsey joined the Lewis family, Susan and Mark (and the rest of the family) welcomed her with open arms. Susan and Mark have built a beautiful family over 47 years, and they continue to provide a constant stream of love and support that has ultimately been essential to making Matt and Lindsey’s wedding possible.
