Recently happily married, we only hope that our wedding day will be as fun as theirs! Genna, sister of the bride and maid of honor (don't call her a matron!) has been Lindsey's best friend since birth, and an obvious choice to be the one to stand by her side on the big day!
It was Jake's courage to ask Genna out during one of their summers working at Spring Lake Beach that ultimately helped Ryan muster up the courage to ask Lindsey out in the same place. Now, the two dudes can be found on a Sunday together, learning words of wisdom and life lessons from Papa Rogers at his shed up in the hills of Burrillville (whether it be blistering heat or a blizzard) drinking beers and cheering on their favorite NASCAR drivers.
Matt and Matt, Matt squared; De-Cathaltes that know far too much about the Industrial Revolution, the boys who could seemingly not be any more different, have a lot more in common than just their names.
Matt (cousin of the groom and best man) has been the best bud of Ryan for their whole life, an obvious choice for best man. He and Ryan roomed with Matt Courchaine (aka Courchaine, groomsman) during junior year of college, in a bachelor pad/party house fondly referred to in the friend group as 12 Summit. It was there that the three found in common their unwavering devotion to Shrek and sharing memes on Instagram. Because, when there is love, there is life. And for the boys from 12 Summit, there’s nothing more important than Family.
Every good adventurer needs a compass. And every student at RIC (aka Megh, big sister of the groom) needs a study abroad experience. But most important to a good adventure is a good (s)bud. And she found the best one in Eoin.
Although these two are an ocean away, nothing could stop us from having them be part of our big day! They're coming all the way from Ireland to celebrate with us and we couldn't be happier to have them both by our sides for when we say "I do"!
Three scared college freshmen became pretty good friends while trying to navigate the ups and downs of living life in O'Hara Hall including drafty windows, showering in flip flops, and 2am fire alarms set off by fellow classmates who forgot to put water in their Easy-Mac before putting it in the microwave.
As the years went on (and living situations improved!) these three girls became inseparable. Whether it was hiking through the sheep pastures near campus, going on their frequent excursions to Boston for a weekend out, or even trekking to the Science Center early on a Sunday morning with iced coffees in hand to study, Brittany Laura and Lindsey survived those college years together. They continue to be Lindsey's go-to-gals and the best of friends, as you can usually find them messaging each other at 530am on a weekday morning.
