Lindsey and Isaiah met for the first time in the speech class of their freshman year 2022. They became friends both going to Cru (Christian organization on campus). In October of 2023, they both attended Fall Retreat (a 3 day getaway to learn more about Christ). They stayed up all night with a group of 7 people. They started hanging out more doing a weekly bible study with that group of 7 people once they all got back to Stout. December of 2023, they both attended Winter Conference (a 5-day getaway like fall retreat). They ended up having their rooms right next to each other for the 5 days spending time at the sessions together. On December 30th, 2023, Isaiah asked Lindsey out over coffee. They got back to Stout and started to hang out every day. Summer hit, and Lindsey wrote Isaiah 118 letters (one for every day), and they went back to school in the fall. They both attended Fall retreat again in October 2024 together, growing more in their relationships with Christ. In November of 2024, after Thanksgiving, Isaiah proposed to Lindsey privately at Sojourn bookstore in Stevens Point Wisconsin. They are both really excited to move into this next chapter of life with each other and can't wait for May to come!
