Lindsey&nbsp;and&nbsp;Isaiah&nbsp;met&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;time&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;speech&nbsp;class&nbsp;of&nbsp;their&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;year&nbsp;2022.&nbsp;They&nbsp;became&nbsp;friends&nbsp;both&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;Cru&nbsp;(Christian&nbsp;organization&nbsp;on&nbsp;campus).&nbsp;In&nbsp;October&nbsp;of&nbsp;2023,&nbsp;they&nbsp;both&nbsp;attended&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;Retreat&nbsp;(a&nbsp;3&nbsp;day&nbsp;getaway&nbsp;to&nbsp;learn&nbsp;more&nbsp;about&nbsp;Christ).&nbsp;They&nbsp;stayed&nbsp;up&nbsp;all&nbsp;night&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;group&nbsp;of&nbsp;7&nbsp;people.&nbsp;They&nbsp;started&nbsp;hanging&nbsp;out&nbsp;more&nbsp;doing&nbsp;a&nbsp;weekly&nbsp;bible&nbsp;study&nbsp;with&nbsp;that&nbsp;group&nbsp;of&nbsp;7&nbsp;people&nbsp;once&nbsp;they&nbsp;all&nbsp;got&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;Stout.&nbsp;December&nbsp;of&nbsp;2023,&nbsp;they&nbsp;both&nbsp;attended&nbsp;Winter&nbsp;Conference&nbsp;(a&nbsp;5-day&nbsp;getaway&nbsp;like&nbsp;fall&nbsp;retreat).&nbsp;They&nbsp;ended&nbsp;up&nbsp;having&nbsp;their&nbsp;rooms&nbsp;right&nbsp;next&nbsp;to&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;5&nbsp;days&nbsp;spending&nbsp;time&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;sessions&nbsp;together.&nbsp;On&nbsp;December&nbsp;30th,&nbsp;2023,&nbsp;Isaiah&nbsp;asked&nbsp;Lindsey&nbsp;out&nbsp;over&nbsp;coffee.&nbsp;They&nbsp;got&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;Stout&nbsp;and&nbsp;started&nbsp;to&nbsp;hang&nbsp;out&nbsp;every&nbsp;day.&nbsp;Summer&nbsp;hit,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Lindsey&nbsp;wrote&nbsp;Isaiah&nbsp;118&nbsp;letters&nbsp;(one&nbsp;for&nbsp;every&nbsp;day),&nbsp;and&nbsp;they&nbsp;went&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;school&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;fall.&nbsp;They&nbsp;both&nbsp;attended&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;retreat&nbsp;again&nbsp;in&nbsp;October&nbsp;2024&nbsp;together,&nbsp;growing&nbsp;more&nbsp;in&nbsp;their&nbsp;relationships&nbsp;with&nbsp;Christ.&nbsp;In&nbsp;November&nbsp;of&nbsp;2024,&nbsp;after&nbsp;Thanksgiving,&nbsp;Isaiah&nbsp;proposed&nbsp;to&nbsp;Lindsey&nbsp;privately&nbsp;at&nbsp;Sojourn&nbsp;bookstore&nbsp;in&nbsp;Stevens&nbsp;Point&nbsp;Wisconsin.&nbsp;They&nbsp;are&nbsp;both&nbsp;really&nbsp;excited&nbsp;to&nbsp;move&nbsp;into&nbsp;this&nbsp;next&nbsp;chapter&nbsp;of&nbsp;life&nbsp;with&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;and&nbsp;can't&nbsp;wait&nbsp;for&nbsp;May&nbsp;to&nbsp;come!

Wondering what to do either before the wedding or during the intermission between the ceremony and reception? Here are a few things that you might enjoy while you wait.

Built in 1924 and owned by Dr. Henry Plummer and his family, the Plummer house is a historic Tudor mansion. This is the venue that we are getting married at and we would love to share this historic building with you! They have guided tours on Wednesdays but it will be open to our guests the day of the wedding to tour.

Silver Lake Park in Rochester, MN, is a scenic urban park featuring a picturesque lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space. The park is a relaxing spot for a short stroll or a peaceful break before an event.

Torey's Restaurant &amp; Bar is the host for our reception, and has offered to open up their bar services before dinner. There will be a cash bar opening at 3:00pm till 4:30pm then off to the reception.

The Village of Yesteryear in Owatonna, MN, is a collection of historic buildings that showcase life in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Visitors can explore preserved structures like a schoolhouse, general store, church, and log cabin, each filled with period artifacts.&nbsp;

Perfect for some family time, is mini golf and Waters Edge is the place to play in Owatonna. You may lose your ball in the water, but that’s just part of the fun. Kids will handle the special plastic putters well and you can all chill out and have fun!
