2. bring your bike and ride on road or mtn trails

3. lots of hiking pull offs on the main roads

4. drive up to whiteface mountain & hike the summit. Whiteface memorial highway takes you straight up) ~$20, check on website prior. (www.whiteface.com)

5. Drive to the high falls gorge & walk 1/2 mile ($15/person)

6. Explore the lake placid downtown & walk around mirror lake

7. Visit the olympic center in downtown lake placid

8. Visit Mt Van Hoevenberg - ride on the cliffside roller coaster track (www.mtvanhoevenberg.com)

9. ride the gondola up to tiny whiteface mountain and back down (www.whiteface.com)

10. Stay on sunday 7/21 and watch the iron man triathalon downtown lake placid
