We have no doubt that this will be our guests' number one question, and you may think we are insane lol. Unfortunately, prices have gone up significantly over the past year, particularly for flights departing from Edmonton (average $2500-$3000 per person is the norm now). We did seek group quotes for all different levels of resorts in Cancun, and to be honest, the prices we received for the 3 or 4-star resorts were just slightly less than the property we ultimately selected. So we thought, why not pick a better resort for just a bit higher price? You would definitely benefit more from it. We also want to take advantage of the "Group Travel Concession," where our guests from Canada will get more discounts for their overall trip (~$250-$378 CAD per person, depending on the final number of guests booked). 

Sunwing and our chosen resort can only hold seats/room blocks up to December 30th 2024, and they must release any empty seats or rooms after the deposit deadline. Guests can still be added to the group, however space and rates will be subject to availability.

As part of the wedding contract terms and conditions, the resort mandates that 80% of the group must stay at the same resort. Guests who booked outside of Sunwing group contract or stay elsewhere must purchase an event pass to attend our wedding.

Yes, you can choose to pay for your trip however you like (biweekly/monthly etc.). Please refer to question #9 in the travel FAQs or contact our travel account manager for more details.

Yes, we would like our special day to be an adults-only occasion. You are more than welcome to bring your kid(s) along on your family vacation; however, babysitting/kid's club appointments must be scheduled prior to our wedding celebration. Thank you for your understanding!

Yes, absolutely! You can add your plus-one information in the travel booking form.

Single room occupancy is NOT recommended. We may try to pair you with another single traveller.

TRS Coral Hotel. We would love all of our guests to stay in this adults-only section for convenient group gatherings. However, we also want to offer our guests from Edmonton another option to consider.
