Seating opens at 4:30 pm and the ceremony starts at 5:00 pm.

Casual, warm clothing is totally fine! If you'd like to wear your cowboy boots or nice denim, feel free. Closed toe shoes and bringing an extra layer just in case is highly recommended :) Most importantly, wear what makes you feel good and ready to celebrate.

A bit of both! The reception and ceremony will both take place at Creekside Station, a beautiful venue situated amidst a woodland/creek environment. The ceremony will take place outside on a grassy lawn, and the reception will be in their covered pavilion. https://eventscreekside.com/

October's average temperature is 50-58 degrees. We will provide blankets to stay cozy and the evening reception will be in the covered, heated pavilion.

The venue location fits approximately 100 cars. Carpooling is encouraged but there will be plenty of room for everyone! We anticipate right around 80 guests as of now. The parking area is right next to the ceremony/reception location.

Check out "Things to Do" for ideas! Some favorites: Hiking at Glimmerglass State Park, going to Fly Creek Cider Mill (10 mins outside of Cooperstown) for fresh apple cider and donuts, and shopping on Cooperstown's main street. Dinner at Mel's on 22 is always delicious, and the Fenimore Art Museum/Farm & Country Village is a great way to spend an afternoon.

The surrounding area of Cooperstown and Hartwick, NY is beautiful and rural with rolling hills, wide lakes, dairy farms, and historic architecture. With this charm comes a lack of public transit or Uber/ride share services, the closest Target being a 45 minute drive, and the likely chance of encountering wild turkeys or deer in the middle of the road. We highly recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay, and driving with caution.

Yes! We will be serving beer, wine, and some select mixed drinks from an open bar. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available. Make sure to bring your ID. They don't accept fakes.

Travel for out of state folks is best accomplished through flying into Albany airport, and renting a car from there. For those in NY state or surrounding areas, driving or taking the train/renting a car is recommended. Check out the "Travel" tab for all the details.

Yes: We have 20 rooms available at the Hampton Inn - Cooperstown. They are offering a discounted rate of $209/night for guests of our wedding, at a location 11 minutes away from the venue. The available dates are October 16 (Thursday) through October 19 (Sunday - Checkout at 11am). There is a two night stay minimum, so you can choose to stay the 16th - 19th OR the 17th - 19th. Call the hotel directly at 607-282-9000 to get the discounted rate and tell them the booking code: "LRW". Book before September 4th, 2025 to take advantage of the block!
