I’m not going to say that it was love at first sight…but it was pretty close!

On a chilly October night in 2019. Brett and I met at Granite Park in Frisco. It is a lovely little row of restaurants with patios looking out over a boardwalk and pond. There are rows of Adirondack chairs and firepits looking out over the water. We ate at a BBQ restaurant and then walked around the pond and sat down in two of the Adirondack chairs to talk. We talked and laughed and lost track of time until a security person rode by on a golf cart and shined a flashlight our direction. We had no idea that the restaurants had all closed for the night and that it was already after midnight!

That is how we began, and we haven’t slowed down since! We have found in each other true friendship, a playmate, and love that keeps on growing!

Praise God for His faithfulness to us!
