Lisa Louden and Kevin Ecton met on a dating website in mid November 2023.

This was Lisa’s very first attempt in dating after years of being out of the online dating circuit.

Kevin on the other hand had been attempting to find his “Match” for several years and was feeling hopeless in love and had decided that after his online dating subscription was up at the end of November he was going to unsubscribe and totally give up on finding his person.

Reluctantly and with serious anxiety, Lisa took the loving advice and insistence from a dear friend to pursue online dating. She did not write her own bio , nor did she choice her photos , her friend did everything for her. She pushed her and built her up , and told her she was the prize until she found the confidence and her sparkle again to start her dating journey.

(Cliff Note - That friend, in the hearts of Lisa and Kevin is responsible for this Love Story , because without her none of this magic would have happened! Praise Be To Bridgette! She had a hand in orchestrating the biggest blessing of their lives.)

As Kevin remembers it , he reached out to Lisa first. Texting a complimentary private message to her.

Lisa just likes to tell everyone that Kevin slid into her DM’s! Lol

It took Lisa 2 weeks to reply, because after starting the online dating process she got overwhelmed and pushed pause. But her friend Bridgette coaxed her back in it , held her hand and said “you can do this- your soul mate is waiting for you!!!” Lisa believed in soul mates for other people, just not for herself. Not until she “swiped right” to “Bachelor” number 3!

And there he was, an online instant presence that stopped her in her tracks , and made her say hmmmm - he’s soooo cute! Handsome and a well written bio. She wondered if he too had had his friend write him his bio? Lisa replied to Kevin and a daily message exchange occurred until he spoke to her over the phone . Kevin asked Lisa what was one of the most exciting things that has ever happened to her? She was stumped. She had never been asked a question like that before . He proudly said - I’ll go first… “ I won the show case show down on the Price Is Right in 1983.”

Now how was Lisa ever gonna compete with that kind of reply and excitement? Was this guy full of crap? Or possibly full of himself? Turns out he has video proof of the actual Price Is Right show footage. Lisa could never compete with an experience like that , but she did share with him that her greatest passion and lifelong obsession are all things British . (which will explain everything about their engagement and wedding later) Kevin then shared that he is 95% British American , and with that Lisa was even more intrigued with him. If only he had the accent - she would have fainted.

If you know Lisa, you know she is a deeply spiritual girl who asks for signs of validation from God and her angels daily to assure that she is on his chosen path. She knew instantaneously that Kevin sharing his English heritage was her sign. Kevin then asked Lisa out on their first date. Lisa and Kevin met in person on December 2nd 2024 at Perennial Restaurant in Towson Maryland. While on that first date they both knew that the energy and attraction was different than with anyone before. Kevin was in awe of Lisa. He claims that while sitting together, dining and chatting that he saw an aura around Lisa that was shining throughout the entire date. Lisa thinks he was just nervous, drunk and star struck , but we will go with Kevin’s enlightening experience. lol

After that date , another date soon followed which led quickly into a third date and a kiss. Ok lots of kisses and maybe some sinning! Lol - Sorry Dad and our four kids!

Date numbers four through six all took place under the magic of Christmas and the holiday season which is when they fell deeply in love and committed themselves to one another in an exclusive relationship.

They have never spent a weekend apart since that time. They make no apologies for creating the happiest , healthiest co-dependent relationship. They are the definition of inseparable and struggle when being without one another.

Lisa and Kevin shared their first getaway in January in a cozy winter wonderland yurt in Western Maryland. That weekend sealed the deal. There was no denying the apparent love they were feeling for each other. Some have called it “the fast track” , others pure destiny and perfect divine order. They call it “Theirs” and the immense gratitude they feel from their mothers in heaven whom they are convinced guided them to one another , reassures them that they are being divinely led.

Spring was spent meeting and introducing friends and family to one another. Easter was celebrated in Hershey ,Pa where Lisa has family.

Summer vacation was the best time spent . Ten days together in Nantucket and Rosemary Beach Florida. It felt more like a honeymoon than a vacation. A first, a test and a total success! Kevin’s dad Bill told them that this vacation would tell them a lot. And it did. They were solid , crazy in love and knew indefinitely that marriage was on their path.

Fall brought the most romantic, dream come true- right out of a British fairytale engagement! Kevin asked Lisa to marry him in London England at Westminster Abbey on November 13th 2024.

Kevin secretly arranged for a London photographer to document and photograph their engagement experience.

Lisa has a life long passion and somewhat obsession with British Royalty and anything made in England. Kevin knew she had always wanted to visit England, London and the English countryside in the Cotswolds.

So he made that English dream come true for her and made her his fiance’.

While exploring and enjoying England and The Cotswolds together, the two decided that this is where a wedding will be held. A venue was chosen and the rest is history in the making. You will have to attend to witness Lisa and Kevin’s ….
